The Pool
The salt water pool is open twenty-four hours a day. It is four feet deep and kept at a temperature between 20° C and 27° C. Activities in the pool are monitored by a camera. A shower must be taken before entering the pool. In case of an emergency, the red telephone connects directly to the 911 call centre. If you need assistance, using the whistle found on top of the first-aid kit on the window wall will attract attention quicker than shouting for help. Lockers in the dressing rooms are for temporary use while you are in the pool or sauna
.
The free ladies aqua exercise sessions are held all year round every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00am until 10:00am. The medium strength aerobic exercises are done to music with some participants using water weights. This is not a progressive program and no swimming is involved. Anyone can join at any time. The instructors are volunteers from our buildings and therefore not liable for personal injuries. Come at your own risk and do only the exercises you are comfortable with.

The Library
The Library is open from 8:00am until 11:00pm. Library books are supplied by residents and can be taken out and returned at your convenience. Donations of books are always welcome as long as they are in good condition. Since there is limited space on the book shelves please recycle all your magazines and worn out books.
Party Bridge is held in the library every Monday between 7:00pm and 9:00pm. Cards and score cards are available in the library. Players play four hands at 1st table and the winners move to the next table for four more hands. Most players are at the same level of play. New players can be introduced and coached as require by our playing instructor. Lessons are provided as required for beginners. If interested in playing you only need to show up and a place at a table will be found for you.
The coffee get-together is held in the library on the first Monday of the month except for July and August. Calendar holidays that fall on a Monday postpone the coffee get-together by one week. A poster is placed on the bulletin board as a reminder of when they are held. Coffee, cake, cookies, cheese and crackers are served all for the cost of $1. This is an excellent way to meet your neighbours and form new relationships. Please bring your own cup.
Exercise Room
The exercise room is located across from the party room and is open twenty-four hours a day. It is equipped with a treadmill, an elliptical machine, two exercise bikes, a stack gym and free weights. There is no limit to the time you can use the equipment. We ask that you respect each other and willingly share.
The bikes can only be programmed while in motion. The self-explanatory chart on the wall is for the use of the stack gym station. Children are not allowed to use any of the exercise equipment. Men must wear tops and no one is allowed to use wet clothing.
So as not to disturb residents please do not drop or bang the weights and plates while exercising. For your safety, make sure you do not use more weight than you can control. Wipe equipment after use with the towels and disinfectant provided. Report any damaged equipment to the Superintendent.
